Don't Let Your Brand Down

Brands.  Large businesses have them. Small businesses have them.  Individuals have them.

Have you stopped to consider your brand and what it says about you?  This is aimed toward real estate agents particularly, but applies to everyone.  When a client researches an agent, they typically begin with the brokerage brand.  Is the brand well known?  Is it national and / or international?  Is it trustworthy?  What services do they provide to me?  What do I get for my money?  That last question is a biggie!

Do you offer in-person service at every stage of the process?  Staging?  Advertising?  Vacant home checks?  Appraisals?  Inspections?  Professional photography?  Do you continue to add services to your brand or have you reached a plateau?

My photography began with business headshots.  Then I added still photography.  As I continued to build my brand, I continued to add other services.  360° tours.  Drone photography.  Floorplans.  Most recently, I added an enhanced floor plan that is interactive with the photographs providing a better client experience.  I don't do video.  I have tried but it is not my forte.  I don't want to lower my brand or yours.  I continue to practice video and if I reach a point I am better, I may offer video in the future.  One thing I will not do is go backward.  I will continue to offer my current services even if  I'm only called on for it once a year because I don't want my brand to suffer.

Do you offer photography?  If so, did you hire a professional?  If so, I encourage you to continue doing so.  In this crazy market, quality photography is still needed.  Don't subscribe to the "even bad cell phone photographs will sell this home."  Don't lower your brand!  If you don't use professional photography, consider doing so.  It will elevate your brand to a higher level!
